VERY late in coming, but big yeppers to epiphany and Sheree on the comments. Storms, especially tornadoes, hurricanes, etc can be quite exhilarating. Though honestly... I'm good on looking at them from a distance. My experience while living in Oklahoma and Texas was enough to last me a life time!

Oh! And yes, it does look very much CG, but nope... that's a big fat *real* on the 1st pic (and the rest). Amazing isn't it!

That is AWESOME. I love storms, tornados and hurricanes...I live in Virginia though so we never see that stuff - well, some decent storms, but I dream of summer in Kansas.

Currently one of my favorite songs. I LOVE the lyrics to this one, especially the chorus. The truth in this rings loud and clear for me; hopefully for you as well.

This song was originally written to be performed by the great Mavis Staples. Merchant ended up joining her on stage and sung with the Staple Singers in response to reportedly the most disturbing photographic images Merchant had ever seen at the New York Historical Society on the history of lynching.

One of the greatest sins this country was ever involved in was the embodiment of racism and all that it spawned.
