Nature At Its Finest… or Its Worst
Posted by GenX on 5 September, 2008
We’ve got a few hurricanes right now that are kicking our butts on the coast/islands, and hurricanes are quite impressive, but alot of my time was spent in “Tornado Alley,” before moving here. After spending some time there, you learn to appreciate nature and the AWESOME power of God. But now I live on the coast, and though hurricanes are our biggest threat here, they are sure to spawn many things like this:

This one is not where I currently live.. But, I've seen this particular pattern before and it's amazing. Had to add this one.

Hurricanes are a-okay in my book until they spawn things like these, and tornadoes haha

That is AWESOME. I love storms, tornados and hurricanes…I live in Virginia though so we never see that stuff – well, some decent storms, but I dream of summer in Kansas.

That first picture is amazing to me! It looks CGI!

VERY late in coming, but big yeppers to epiphany and Sheree on the comments. Storms, especially tornadoes, hurricanes, etc can be quite exhilarating. Though honestly… I’m good on looking at them from a distance. My experience while living in Oklahoma and Texas was enough to last me a life time!
Oh! And yes, it does look very much CG, but nope… that’s a big fat *real* on the 1st pic (and the rest). Amazing isn’t it!
